It's official- we were set apart today!

President and Sister Watts were set apart today. We had the wonderful opportunity of meeting with Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles at his office in Salt Lake City. Joining him was Elder Paul Piper of the Seventy. With us were Ken and Lisa Burningham with their daughter Ellie, Spencer and Amy Watts, Sister Watts' parents Aldin and Shirley Porter and President Watts' sister Pam Bodtcher with her husband Roy. Sister Watts felt that the people with them made the event the most special. Elder Piper set her apart and he invited President Watts and Lorie's Dad to join them in the circle when she was set apart. Having family participate added to the already sweet spirit.

As an added bonus, we bumped into Elder Richard G. Scott as we exited the elevator. What amazing men we have leading the church. They are truly inspired!

President and Sister Watts will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT tomorrow morning and we be there until Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, bright and early, they will be on their way to Guatemala. We can't wait to get there and get to work.
