Did they make it?

Hello missionary family and friends- this is Amy the Blogmaster. President and Sister Watts flew to Guatemala this last Monday. We assume they made it safely because we have not heard from them yet. No news is good news, right? I'm sure they are so busy touring the mission and meeting all your wonderful sons and daughters. They were so excited when they left and ready to get to work. I don't know when you get e-mail from your children, but if anyone mentions meeting the new mission president, will you please let me know? It will be fun to hear what their first impressions are. Leave it here in a comment or e-mail me at amy.t.watts@gmail.com

We are looking forward to being a part of the Guatemala City North Mission family!

Amy,
We are so excited that you will be continuing a blog for the Guatemala North missionaries, and we look forward to getting to know President and Sister Watts better. We know that they will be wonderful, and our son is in good hands. You are so sweet for doing this for them and for us!

In our e-mail today Elder Delgado said he had is first interview this week and how awsome Pres. Watts is and he said Sis Watts made cinnamon rolls and brought a Snickers bar that was the best he has had in his entire life!! :) He also mentioned that the members there really like them and how easy going they are! Looking forward to your updates to see what their first impressions of Guatemala are.

Hi Amy,
My son Elder Toolson had nothing but wonderful things to say about meeting your parents this week. Here is a quote you will like about your mom: "sister Watts. hahaha she is literally the sweetest lady I have ever seen, I am not just saying that. She makes me laugh because she is so very very Happy and personable, when I first met her she grabbed my hand and my arm and just started talking for about 5 minutes about everything, she has this spirit of happiness about her that makes me laugh too".
I am so grateful for their love of the gospel and willingness to serve.
And I am SO glad yu will be keeping a blog! Thanks so much!
